Privacy policy

iDesign Studio ("Studio") is a design tool operated by iDesign of Larchmont, New York. This policy describes what Studio collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: Studio collects what it needs to run your account and store your designs, and nothing is sold to anyone.

What Studio collects

• Account information. Your email address, the name you provide, and a password handled by our authentication provider. Studio never sees or stores your password in readable form.
• Your content. The designs you create, brand kits (colors, fonts, and logos), and images you place in designs. Content is stored so it can sync across your devices and with people you share it with.
• Technical data. Session tokens that keep you signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) kept by our infrastructure providers for security and reliability.
• Usage measurement. Aggregate, non-identifying usage measurement may run through Google Analytics to understand how Studio is used overall.

How it is used

To provide the service: authenticate you, store and sync your designs, show the right content to the right people based on your sharing settings, and respond when you contact us. Studio does not sell personal information, does not run advertising, and does not use your designs to market to anyone.

Sharing and visibility

Designs are visible according to the settings you choose: members of your brand, people you invite by email, and anyone holding a share link at the access level you set. If you set a link to view or edit, anyone with that link can see the design at that level. Access rules are enforced in the database, not just in the browser.

Service providers

Studio runs on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on its behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), Supabase (authentication, database, and realtime sync), Google Fonts (font delivery), and Google Analytics if usage measurement is enabled. Each receives only what is needed to perform its function.

Retention and deletion

Your content stays until you delete it or ask us to. Deleting a design removes it and its edit history. To delete your account and everything in it, contact iDesign through the details below and we will remove it within 30 days, allowing for routine backups to roll off.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Permissions are enforced by row level security in the database, and administrative access follows least privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but Studio is built so that the database, not the browser, is the gatekeeper.

Children

Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date above will be updated and notice will be posted on this page.
